The Fellowship Programme is for physicians wishing to obtain competence in Acute Ischemic Stroke Interventions (AISI) as defined by the European Board of Neurointerventionists (EBNI). It consists of a theoretical part and a 1-year training at one of the designated centres (see below), financially supported by ESMINT.
The Observership Programme offers an informal learning experience in a university hospital environment through a 3- to 6-month observership at one of the designated centres, financially supported by ESMINT.
New in 2022, four fellow- and / or observerships are reserved for women. This comes as a joint initiative from the Fellowship Committee, WIN@ESMINT and our sponsor Medtronic.
