It is our great pleasure and honour to welcome you to the 17th Congress of the European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy, taking place in the captivating city of Marseille from September 3-5, 2025. This year, we embrace “New Horizons in Neurointerventions”, an exciting theme that underscores our commitment to pioneering advances in our field, echoing Paulo Coelho’s poignant belief , “When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it.” With the rapid evolution of robotics and artificial intelligence, we are at a pivotal moment that promises to redefine the landscape of patient care through improved precision and outcomes.

Our Scientific Committee has diligently curated a dynamic program featuring a diverse range of sessions designed to engage and inspire. From renowned experts sharing insights on integrating robotic endovascular systems to discussions exploring the transformative impact of AI on our workflows, we are committed to fostering an environment rich in new ideas and collaborative spirit. This year, we will host joint sessions with respected sister societies, the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS), the European Stroke Organization (ESO), and the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS), providing critical insights and enriching our understanding of patient-centered care. Additionally, dedicated parallel sessions for our EYMINT (Young ESMINT Network) and ETMINT (angiosuite personnel) colleagues will ensure their perspectives and innovations are represented at the forefront of our discussions.

Building on previous years’ success, our popular ‘Start-Up Alley’ will return, offering a platform for emerging companies to engage in meaningful discussions with the wider community. Furthermore, we will prioritize key discussions and encourage you to stay tuned for “hot news” sessions addressing the latest findings and emerging technologies. As we gather in this beautiful coastal city renowned for its vibrant culture and rich history, we urge you to take advantage of both the scientific and social offerings of the congress. The 16th ESMINT Congress is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).

The 16th ESMINT Congress is accredited by for a maximum of, or up to,
13.5 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the EACCME. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

About the annual ESMINT Congresses

The annual ESMINT Congress is growing year by year. The goal of the conference is to facilitate interdisciplinary discussions between interventional neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, and scientists. These discussions refer to indications, strategies, techniques, complications, and morbi-mortality in vascular interventional neuroradiology, endovascular neurosurgery, and vascular neurology.

Moreover, the annual ESMINT Congress is to provide information on new technologies and practices. Attendees also receive the results from studies, both ongoing and completed.

Additionally, we wish to stimulate debates and controversial opinions based on case discussions, operators’ experience and the results of most recent studies.

The ESMINT Congress is a conference on interventional neuroradiology and endovascular neurosurgery. It has a strong focus on education as many ESMINT training activities. Usually, parts of the programme are compiled with partner societies with an overlapping interest in interventional neuroradiology and endovascular neurosurgery.
