More InformationThe welcome video of ESMINT 2024
Marseille is a harbour city, a location that has seen intense exchanges between peoples, and which therefore well represents the sense of collaboration, participation and interdisciplinarity that is the hallmark of our Society, and that finds its maximum expression during the annual meeting. It is a location that will contribute to our experience of the conference, at the same time full of opportunities but also open to debate, and capable of renewing energy and enthusiasm in our research community.
The meeting will feature ample time for discussion, with plenary sessions focusing on cutting-edge ‘hot topics’, including clinical and fundamental research findings, as well as clinical observations and case presentations, promoting interaction between speakers and participants. Adequate space will be dedicated to the presentation and discussion of abstracts, encouraging interactive participation.
Joint sessions with our sister societies, SNIS, EANS and ESO are embedded within the Congress program. Along with these, morbimortality sessions, case presentations, the EYMINT sessions for our younger colleagues and the ETMINT sessions for angiosuite personnel all together confirm the interdisciplinary soul of ESMINT.
As ever, the emphasis will be on the latest developments in our discipline, ranging from robotics and AI, to new devices and therapeutic options. Opinion leaders in device development will illustrate the stages of design development a device must go through before it can be brought to the market. Renowned clinicians will report on the clinical management of neurovascular patients and how this can be the driver for the further evolution of our discipline. Device development, technical advances and treatments, neuro MR-guided procedures and paediatric neurovascular management will also be some of the hot topics of the meeting.
The Old Port of Marseille provides the perfect scenario for an exciting social program, including the morning run and yoga session, and a networking event to be held in a spectacular location. All activities will be easily accessible – ‘just to be enjoyed’ – in the convivial spirit of our meeting where global interdisciplinary cooperation can be seen at its best.
Together with our esteemed Scientific Committee, we look forward to welcoming you to this event, which represents the most important moment of cultural exchange in the life of our Society and the global neurovascular community!
Looking forward to seeing you soon.

About the annual ESMINT Congresses
The annual ESMINT Congress is growing year by year. The goal of the conference is to facilitate interdisciplinary discussions between interventional neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, and scientists. These discussions refer to indications, strategies, techniques, complications, and morbi-mortality in vascular interventional neuroradiology, endovascular neurosurgery, and vascular neurology.
Moreover, the annual ESMINT Congress is to provide information on new technologies and practices. Attendees also receive the results from studies, both ongoing and completed.
Additionally, we wish to stimulate debates and controversial opinions based on case discussions, operators’ experience and the results of most recent studies.
The ESMINT Congress is a conference on interventional neuroradiology and endovascular neurosurgery. It has a strong focus on education as many ESMINT training activities. Usually, parts of the programme are compiled with partner societies with an overlapping interest in interventional neuroradiology and endovascular neurosurgery.
GET INVOLVED! ESMINT is not a typical formal congress. Send us your ideas for subjects you would like us to cover and help us design the program. We want this meeting to open our minds, enlarge our knowledge and eventually influence our practice.
