Ongoing Trials – Call for Submissions
Planning for the ESMINT 2026 Congress is underway, and this year’s programme will include a dedicated Ongoing Trials session, taking place on Friday, 4 September at 11:00 (timing subject to change).
This session aims to provide a platform where information about new and ongoing (not yet published) studies can be shared with the neurointerventional community.
Your Input Matters
Ongoing clinical research plays a key role in advancing neurointervention. By sharing your study, you contribute to increasing the visibility of current developments and fostering collaboration across centres.
The session is designed to highlight ongoing work within the community and to encourage exchange, including potential future collaborations.
How to Submit Your Trial
Researchers organising independent clinical trials, registries, or prospective studies are invited to submit their work.
Studies from both single-centre and multi-centre settings are welcome.
Each submission should include:
- study title
- brief explanation (approximately 50 words)
- name and affiliation of the Principal Investigator
- number of centres involved
- expected duration
Deadline for submissions: Thursday, 30 April 2026, 23:59 CEST
Eligibility
Eligible submissions include independent neurointerventional studies (including neurology, neurosurgery, etc.) that are designed, planned or ongoing and have not yet been published.
Presentation Format
A limited number of studies will be selected for presentation during the session in the plenary room.
All accepted studies will also be displayed on a dedicated monitor outside the session room.
Registration
The Principal Investigator or a designated representative of each accepted study will be able to register for the Congress at the same rate as for an accepted abstract.
Ready to Submit?
Submit your study and contribute to showcasing ongoing research within the neurointerventional community.

All submissions will be reviewed to ensure a balanced and high-quality session reflecting the breadth of ongoing research in the field.
Due to the limited time available in the plenary session, not all accepted studies can be presented orally. However, all accepted submissions will be included in the on-site display.
Why Your Contribution Matters
