EXMINT
The European Stroke Course in Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy (EXMINT) is a theoretical Stroke Course. EXMINT is a condensed, theoretical training and constitutes one of the first learning components for neurointerventional ischemic stroke treatment.
What is EXMINT?
In addition to ECMINT, which focuses on the theoretical basis for the full neurointerventional spectrum, ESMINT started EXMINT in 2018, a separate course dedicated to those physicians who want to perform only stroke treatment.
One EXMINT cycle comprises two 5-day courses (one in-person, one virtual), which include lectures, small group tutorials, debates, and tests. To attend course 2, the student need to successfully attend the first course.
The examination for the EDSI, open only to EXMINT graduates, takes place virtually in April / May and successful candidates are invited to receive their Diploma at the ESMINT Congress in September.
