Live Events Endorsement

ESMINT acknowledges the high standards of educational programs that align with our endorsement criteria. We also offer the WIN endorsement, which aims to support global conferences and seminars focused on enhancing gender parity in neurointervention.

General Endorsement

ESMINT encourages scientific societies, organizations, and individuals to engage in activities that expand knowledge across various neurointerventional topics. These initiatives can receive the Society’s endorsement. The Congress Relations Committee, led by Jeroen Boogaarts, will evaluate requests based on ESMINT’s endorsement criteria.

Criteria for general endorsement

Activities must address neurointerventional topics.

The request should state:

  • The type of activity
  • The content of the activity
  • Organizing committee, faculty, or speakers
  • The target audience
  • Sponsors or financial details

Activities should be non-profit and sponsored by public/social organizations, multiple independent commercial parties, or participants.

The Society should be able to assess the activity by visiting, participating, or interviewing participants, if necessary.

A brief summary or evaluation of the activity should be provided to the Society within six months after the event.

WIN Endorsement

To promote global conferences and educational seminars aimed at improving gender parity in the coming years, WIN – Women in Neurointervention encourages scientific societies, organizations, and individuals to undertake activities that increase the visibility of women in neurointervention.

Societies, organizations, or individuals can request endorsement from the WIN@ESMINT committee if they meet the defined criteria. The Committee, led by Franziska Dorn, will evaluate requests based on ESMINT’s WIN endorsement criteria.

Criteria for WIN Endorsement

Activities must address neurointerventional topics and meet at least 2 of the following 4 criteria for WIN@ESMINT endorsement:

  • At least 25% female speakers
  • At least 25% female moderators
  • Inclusion of female-specific topics in the program
  • One or more female members on the organizing team/faculty

The request should include:

  • The type of activity
  • The content of the activity
  • List of speakers
  • Organizing committee, faculty, or speakers
  • The target audience
  • Sponsors or financial details

The Society should be able to assess the activity by visiting, participating, or interviewing participants, if necessary.

Apply now for endorsement

The endorsement application form should be submitted at least three months before the event date. Your application will be reviewed, and you will receive notification within one month of submitting a duly completed form. If granted, the endorsement applies only to the specific live educational event for which you applied in that year.

WIN Endorsement:
To apply for WIN Endorsement, please select the corresponding checkbox at the beginning of the application form.

Please note that endorsement may be granted or withheld at the ESMINT’s sole and absolute discretion.
