Dr. Aymeric Rouchaud

Aymeric Rouchaud is Professor of Interventional Neuroradiology at Limoges University Hospital, co-leader of the Bio-Health group within the XLIM CNRS UMR 7252 laboratory, and co-leader of the EMIS animal experimentation platform.

Prof. Rouchaud is responsible for the IMI (Image-guided Mini-Invasive Interventions) axis in the Limoges University Hospital. Professor Rouchaud and his team have extensive experience of animal models, particularly rabbits, for the evaluation and optimisation of endovascular devices for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms.

He develops research partnerships with companies involved in interventional neuroradiology for the development of new devices. He is co-inventor of several patents. He also has extensive experience of collaborative clinical research with several prospective multicentre studies.
