The ESMINT Congress 2024 provided to the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of all those who earned the European Diploma in Neurointervention (EDNI) and European Diploma in Ischemic Stroke Intervention (EDSI)in 2024.
We were delighted to welcome a significant number of diploma awardees in person in Marseille and would like to express our sincere congratulations to all of them and wish them all the best as they continue in their careers.
EDNI: A theoretical qualification in the full neurointerventional curriculum
The European Diploma in Neurointervention (EDNI) represents a formal qualification recognizing the theoretical knowledge essential for neurointerventional therapy. The examination has two parts: this year the written exam was held on April 19th and the orals on September 2nd.
Only graduates of the ECMINT course are eligible to take the EDNI exams. This year, a total of 38 candidates passed both the written and oral exams and were awarded the EDNI, a significant milestone in their professional development.
The diploma award ceremony took place during the ESMINT Congress 2024, providing a moment of recognition and pride for the candidates and their achievements.
EDSI: A theoretical qualification in ischaemic stroke intervention
Successful graduates of the EXMINT course are eligible to sit the exmainatino for the European Diploma in Ischaemic Stroke Intervention (EDSI). this year the EDSI examination was held on May 3rd.
A total of 47 candidates passed the examination and were awarded the EDSI this year. We were delighted that so many of them were able to attend the awards ceremony at the Marseille Congress to receive their diploma in person and we wish them all the best for the future.
Highlighting the Success of EDNI and EDSI Graduates
The EDNI and EDSI diploma award ceremonies at ESMINT Congress 2024 celebrated the achievements of our candidates who have shown exceptional dedication to their professional development. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of them.
Every year a ‘Half Brain’ trophy is awarded to the top scorers in the EDSI and EDNI written examinations. The reason it is half a brain is to represent that theoretical education is only one part: it must be completed by the other part – putting that theory into practice.
