The first course of the 3rd cycle of ECMINT is now complete – with neurovascular disease of the skull base (and some spinal) as the main topic with lots of other lectures related to arterial anatomy, embryology, and haematology in particular. The important subject of consent – the very beginning of our interventional journey was also well covered…..as was vascular access, the second part!

Again we are grateful to our expert internationally acclaimed faculty from Europe and the UK who all give of their time and expertise so generously. Thankfully, this year, life was not complicated by the snow and airport closures that we encountered one year ago!

With the participation and excellent tuition given by so many experts, it is hardly surprising that the course is rapidly expanding and gaining in popularity – 96 delegates but with 155 applicants on this occasion – regrettably it is impossible to accept everyone as part of its appeal has been the small tutorial groups, encouraging valuable discussion and an intimate atmosphere.

ECMINT 3.2 (aneurysms, subarachnoid haemorrhage and delayed ischaemic deficit) will take place in June 26th-29th, 2019, 96 places. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Hope to see you then.

With best wishes to all for 2019.
