Young neurointerventionalists are invited to submit their first independent dural arteriovenous fistula (dAVF) case for a unique opportunity at the 18th ESMINT Congress 2026 in Marseille (2–4 September 2026).

Following the very positive feedback on a previous EYMINT talk and case discussion with Maksim Shapiro, and requests from attendees for more anatomy-focused interactive teaching, this year’s EYMINT programme will feature “EYMINT goes BANANA”.

What is EYMINT goes BANANA?

Banana LogoInspired by the renowned BANANA course (Basic and Advanced Neurovascular ANAtomy), this special format brings together case-based learning, practical decision-making, and structured anatomical discussion.

Across both parts of the EYMINT Session, real-world cases will take centre stage – discussed, challenged, and explored together with peers and expert faculty in a highly dynamic, workshop-style setting.

The session will be led by BANANA faculty Maksim Shapiro and Eytan Raz, together with the EYMINT team.

Why submit?

Your first independent case is a milestone in every career – full of challenges, decisions, and important learning moments. We are not looking for the perfect case, but for the one where you took the lead and gained valuable experience.

The winning submission will be integrated into the official EYMINT Session programme, with the presenter invited as a faculty speaker to present live during the ESMINT Congress 2026.

The second- and third-ranked submissions will be considered accepted abstracts/cases and therefore fulfil the eligibility requirement for the Congress scholarship programme.

For 2026, submissions should focus on dural arteriovenous fistulas (dAVF).
