The French Task Force on Flow Diverter Braid Deformation, in collaboration with the ESMINT Research Committee, is conducting an international survey to gather insights and experiences from the neurointerventional community on Flow Diverter Braid Deformation (FDBD).
Understanding current practice
Flow diverter braid deformation is increasingly recognised in clinical practice, yet important questions remain regarding its definition, detection, clinical relevance and contributing factors.
The survey aims to better understand current practices and perspectives across the neurointerventional community. The findings will help identify areas of consensus and uncertainty, inform future research priorities and contribute to the development of standardised definitions and guidance.
Share your experience
Neurointerventionists are invited to contribute their experience and perspective by completing the survey.
The survey is open until 31 December 2026.
The survey is an initiative of the French Task Force* on Flow Diverter Braid Deformation, in collaboration with the ESMINT Research Committee.
