ESMINT mourns the loss of Professor Luc Picard

15 Apr 2021   Category/ies: Society

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of Professor Luc Picard, Professor of Neuroradiology of the Faculty of Medicine in Nancy, France.

Professor Picard was a much-valued honorary member of ESMINT (2012). His pioneering work in the development and improvement of neuroradiology highly contributed to the success of the specialty. As the lead of the famous “Val d’Isère meeting”, he provided the framework for this Society to work as a friendship and trust-based coalition.

All at the ESMINT Society extend their deepest sympathy to his family, friends, and colleagues. With his unexpected death, we have lost a great mentor, doctor, scientist, and friend.
