ESMINT were delighted to attend the SNIS Annual Meeting & Fellows Course in Nasvhille from 14 – 18 July.
In addition to the joint session, co-planned and moderated by General Secretary, Christian Taschner, ESMINT President Anne Christine Januel presented an overview of
neurointerventional training in the EU in the “All Roads lead to the Suite: Training in the USA vs. EU” session. This was a valuable opportunity to understand the merits and challenges of each others’ training pathways, which give food for thought.
We value our strong connection with the SNIS, underpinned by our mutual goal to
to improve patient care through collaboration, education, and innovation in the field of neurointervention. As ever, the meeting highlighted how great the opportunities are to learn from each other.
For the first time, the ESMINT Executive Office was present with a table in the Exhibition, which provided a valuable opportunity to touch base with old and new friends, and provide more information about who we are and what we do.
All from ESMINT also appreciated the location of Nashville and its attractions, the congress itself was held at “Music City”, with the welcome reception at the Country Music Museum & Hall of Fame. The SNIS ‘wellness activity’ was particularly appreciated by Liz Derow of the ESMINT executive office, who was touched to receive a prize for “travelled the longest distance just for the pickleball”.
