What to expect?

Basilar artery occlusion is a rare but devastating type of stroke. Only a handful of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) exist, most of which originate from China and involve patients with very high NIHSS scores, comparing endovascular treatment with secondary prevention alone. The guidelines working group has taken a rigorous approach to provide guidance for typical clinical scenarios.

Your learning objectives

  • Gain familiarity with the published guidelines
  • Learn the basics of the GRADE methodology
  • Develop a foundational understanding of bias evaluation in studies
  • Critically appraise the available literature

This webinar will be an interactive live transmission. All participants will be able to ask questions in real-time via the online chat.

There will be a recording of the webinar.
