About the speaker & moderator
The moderator of the webinar is Prof. Dr. Saruhan Cekirge. He is the codirector of Division of Interventional Neuroradiology of Koru Private Hospitals and director of Interventional Neuroradiology of Bayindir Private Hospitals in Ankara. As a pioneer of contemporary Interventional Neuroradiology, he dedicated himself since 1992 with his partner Prof Saatci developing and improving advanced endovascular treatment techniques for the treatment of cerebral aneurysms and AVMs, while focusing on training of neurointerventionalists worldwide about advanced endovascular treatment techniques since 2001 either in his institutions with international workshops or proctoring/performing cases outside of his institution globally from North America to Japan. He is also one of the main creators of the Global Live Case Neuroendovascular Treatment Education platform called ‘’World Live Neurovascular Course (WLNC)’’ which rotates between different continents. He has 120 publications with more than 6000 citations.
The presenter of the webinar is Prof. Dr. Charbel Mounayer. He is the Head of Neuroradiology Department at Limoges University Hospital and Professor of Medicine at University of Limoges (France). He is a Neuro-Interventionist at the INR Department in Limoges University Hospital and Professor, additionally he is member of the Board of the French society of Neuroradiology. He is holding a membership of the European Board of the European Course of Neuroradiology and Director of the French INR Diploma and the world Federation of Interventional Neuroradiology. He is an honorary member of LIRA (Latvian Interventional Radiology Association) and of SOBRICE (Brazilian society of Interventional Radiology).
