What is the webinar about?

The webinar is about the latest technology developments for mechanical thrombectomy in treating large vessel occlusions. Initial results of using the Penumbra System with JET7 reperfusion catheter and Penumbra ENGINE aspiration source will be presented in light of clinical outcomes discussed in recent literature.

Key message

Latest generation large bore aspiration catheters in conjunction with a continuous deep vacuum aspiration source may further improve technical and clinical outcomes in the treatment of LVO. Benefits may be realized in first pass TICI scores, time to reperfusion, number of passes, final TICI score, mRS results and a range of further indicators.

Learning objectives

  • Update of latest clinical literature and results in stroke treatment
  • Effect of latest generation reperfusion catheters on the ADAPT technique
  • Influence of a continuous aspiration source on technical and clinical outcomes in mechanical thrombectomy
  • Efficacy of a modern aspiration system
