What is the webinar about?

This webinar will provide the audience with the basics of performing univariable analyses. It will focus on:

  • How to formulate a research question: null hypothesis vs. alternative hypothesis
  • Univariable analysis: which test should I use? Parametric and non-parametric tests (t-test, Chi square test, Wilcoxon rank sum test, Kruskal Wallis test etc) and when to use which one
  • Pitfalls of p-values, minimally clinically important differences vs. statistical significance

Your learning objectives

  • Learning how to formulate a research question: null hypothesis vs. alternative hypothesis
  • Knowing which tests to use for univariable analysis
