Patrick Brouwer was president of the ESMINT from September 2018 until September 2020 after having completed board roles since 2012 including those of Treasurer and General Secretary.
He held senior positions as a neurointerventionalist in the Netherlands; Leiden (Leiden University Medical Center), Rotterdam (Erasmus MC) and in Sweden; Stockholm (Karolinska University Hospital from 2014-2019).
After his clinical career he focused on composing music and joined Cerenovus (Johnson and Johnson) in 2021 as their Head of Worldwide Medical Affairs.
