PRESS RELEASE: ESMINT signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Finnish Society of NeuroInterventionalists (FSNI)

ESMINT and FSNI, in recognition of their aligned goals and interests, enter into a formal collaboration to benefit their respective members and enable them to offer the highest standards of patient care.

ESMINT and FSNI formalized their collaboration with a view to define joint actions, achieve the best possible outcomes, and increase both parties’ visibility. The Memorandum of Understanding signed pledges efficient and transparent communication between the two Societies within the scope of the agreement.

The MoU was signed by Professor Zsolt Kulcsár and Professor Matti Isokangas, Presidents of ESMINT and FSNI respectively, as well as Dr Anne Christine Januel and Professor Jussi Numminen, Secretaries General of ESMINT and FSNI respectively.

The agreement gives a 20% discount to FSNI members becoming any category of ESMINT member, and commits to mutual accessibility of each other’s membership and scientific platforms.

ESMINT, as the premier neurointerventional society and members’ association in Europe is committed to working with all European national neurointerventional societies in both formal and informal collaborations with the ultimate aim of improving patient treatment.

ESMINT (European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy) was established in 2009 to promote the benefits of minimally invasive neurological therapies in Europe through training and education and high-quality scientific research. It is an interdisciplinary society, representing medical practitioners and scientists working in the field of neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, neurointerventional surgery, endovascular neurosurgery, and vascular neurology.
