About the speakers & moderator

Prof. Marios Psychogios

Prof. Marios Psychogios is a leading physician in the field of neurointerventions who is heading the Department of Interventional and Diagnostic Neuroradiology, University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. He graduated in 2006 from School of Medicine, University of Crete and moved in 2007 to University Hospital Goettingen where he led the Stroke Research group and later became the Acting Head of the Department of Interventional and Diagnostic Neuroradiology.

Dr. Eytan Raz

Eytan Raz is an Associate Professor at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City. He graduated from Sapienza University in Rome and then moved to New York for NeuroIR Fellowship at NYU where he then stayed on. His fields of expertise include neurovascular anatomy and imaging applications in neuroIR; together with his NYU colleagues they established the BANANA course and online BANANAz sessions based on the work on www.neuroangio.org.
