About the speakers & moderator

Prof. Markus A. Möhlenbruch

Markus A. Möhlenbruch is the Head of Interventional Neuroradiology (MINTZ) at the Heidelberg University Hospital in Germany. Prof. Möhlenbruch has published more than 230 peer-reviewed papers. His practice and research has been centered on the treatment of intracranial aneurysm, cerebrovascular malformations and ischemic stroke. He has been an investigator on several stroke and aneurysm trials.

Leopoldo Guimaraens, MD

Leopoldo Guimaraens is a specialist in Neuroradiology with more than 30y of experience. He is currently head of the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Neuroangiography Service of the General Hospital of Catalonia. He has developed his healthcare activity as Head of Service in prestigious national and international hospitals. He is an active member of the French, Spanish and European Society of Neuroradiology and has published more than 120 papers and articles in books on Interventional Neuroradiology.

Aaron Baldwin, PhD

Aaron Baldwin is R&D Director at Microvention leading Laser Cut Technology and Chemistry. He actively drove the functionalization of the X polymer (Terumo) in Neurovascular devices.

Jacques Dion, MD

Jacques Dion is Vice President Scientific Affairs at MicroVention. Jacques had an extensive experience as neuroradiologist in Atlanta; after 20y of medical practice he joined MV to support future product research and give his advice and support young and experienced fellows.
